Our Mission: Bringing Energy Where It's Needed Most
At The Propane & Power Relief Fund, we are committed to providing essential energy to communities in crisis. Whether responding to the aftermath of a natural disaster or assisting low-income families struggling to keep their homes warm, our mission is to ensure no one is left without the power and propane they need to live, recover, and rebuild.
The PPRF was born from the firsthand experiences of our Founder, Kelly Tidwell, who saw a gap in disaster relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Kelly and his friends witnessed the devastation that left rural communities in Western North Carolina isolated and without access to critical resources. These communities, often overlooked by larger relief efforts, inspired Kelly to act.
